Qwen 3.7 Text Embedding Flash is the lighter option listed in Alibaba Cloud’s newer embedding family. The official Beijing-region catalog gives it a lower token price than the full Qwen 3.7 model, with the same published language coverage and long source context.
This integration uses its default 1,024-dimensional float vectors. AIRuntime selects the published model directly; embeddings.app supplies a consistent text endpoint and conservative byte limits. Flash availability must be verified for the selected Alibaba workspace and region.
